I was try VU player v 2.49 on Windows 7 Ultimate too.
No problem.
VU player works OK.

I'll have to give the old version another go then, maybe something has changed between Windows 7 RC and the final release.

I happily used VU on xp for years, but recently changed to Ubuntu Linux and VU did not work with Wine, However I was delighted to find VU3 works well, although the radio buttons seem to be missing.
If other users have any tips regarding using VU or VU3 on Linux I would be pleased to hear them.
